 Jordan Harris is a senior pitcher at Akron-Westfield High School. She is a 4-year letter winner and two-time All-War Eagle Conference Selection. This fall she signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her softball career at Wayne State College. She will likely play outfield for the Wildcats next fall. She has qualified for the Iowa State Track Meet three times and is also an All-Conference performer in basketball and volleyball. Not only is she a great athlete she also carries a 3.5 Grade Point Average.

 (Akron, IA) – On Monday, Jan. 19, 2009, Dave Hecht of Akron, will turn 19. He graduated from Akron-Westfield last May, 2008, and for all intents and purposes his future was pretty well settled. He would attend Northwest Community College on a full-ride rodeo athletic scholarship.
