(Lawton, IA) – Lawton-Bronson and Moville joined in a Friday, May 29, 2009 dedication of the new baseball field complex, naming the latter after local baseball supporter, Bill Goodwin, Jr. The field is now officially known as Bill Goodwin Jr. Field.

(Lawton, IA) – Since its inception four years ago, the Siouxland Sports Authority has selected four All-Americans: Erik Tonsfeldt (Le Mars Community, football), Robert Kellogg (Sioux City North, wrestling), Jacqui Kalin (Sioux City North, basketball), and Megan Glisar (Sergeant Bluff-Luton, high jump, track). As of February 2009, SSA’s All-American selectee is two-time All-State football player, wrestling and track athlete, Dakota Miller of Lawton-Bronson High School.

(Lawton) – Yes, Clayton King was featured in SSA during the recently completed football season. The senior quarterback is now in the wrestling room, sweating off what’s not needed and honing his muscles in preparation for the mat season ahead. The son of Steve and Wendi King is moving up from a 160-pound weight class to 189 this season.
