(Sioux City, IA) – When the Lady Wolverines take the court early this winter, they’ll bring with them the experience they gained last season compiling a 6-14 record. The six wins, incidentally, carry with it the fact that before Whitesell came onboard, the West girls were 3-40 over a two year period.

She is just your average hard working girl who does the things her coach asks her to do. In short, she just gets the job done. The amazing thing about Katrina is she hasn’t been playing that long.

(Sioux City, IA) – Coming off a 7-3 win over ranked Council Bluffs Lewis Central, Thursday (June 19, 2009) night in Sioux City, senior second baseman C.J. Nolan felt pretty good. He contributed to the Sioux City West victory by powering in two RBIs on a double and single. The 6’1” 215-pounder intimated that it was just the beginning of big things happening at West.
